Sundays and Mondays are the best days to look for jobs in the country's largest newspaper - La Nacion and each week it seems that more and more display advertisements are in English.
Amongst the English language 'blue-chip' jobs advertisers this last Sunday and Monday were: Fujitsu Consulting, WalMart, Western Union, Teradyne, US Airways, AdvanceMe Inc, Datascension and Advansys.
And Friday, Saturday and Sunday (28th - 30th July) the Bilingual Job Fair is being held in San Jose at the Centro Nacional de Cultura.
At this job fair, you will be able to find the following employers: Alienware, Baxter, Dole, Fujitsu, Sykes, Proctor & Gamble, Western Union, Qualfon, Sykes, Hewlett Packard, IBM and Intel.
That's a lot of money and a lot of confidence that they have placed in this country and their Costa Rican employees.
During 2006, Intel expects to invest another $80 million in its production plants and expects to create 500 new jobs as part of its normal operations in the country. With these new hirings the company payroll will increase to about 4,000 employees in Costa Rica.
There are a lot of major multi-national businesses that have put their faith and their money in this little big country called Costa Rica and it's only getting busier.
