The beaches are sublime, with clean 82 degree waters. Aromal is in Northern Guanacaste on a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and Bolaños Bay, and is surrounded by national parks and wildlife preserves. Playa Pavones is located in Southern Guanacaste with 1.3 miles of dramatic Pacific ocean front bordered by the Garza River and an 8,500 acre forest preserve.
